Mokgadi tells the story of a young black woman from a rural village, whose athletic brilliance was deliberately obstructed. Against injustice and discrimination, she rises — finding her voice and standing firm as a vessel of resistance. Through the extraordinary artistry of shadow theatre, the production pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of Caster Mokgadi Semenya, celebrating resilience, courage, and the fight for dignity.
