Putting It Together

Next up on the Playhouse calendar is our end of year musical revue which will run from 29 November to 14 December. PUTTING IT TOGETHER is a fast-paced revue devised by Sondheim himself. A unique and inventive musical entertainment from his own work, it includes songs from practically every score he has ever written, as well as some never heard before. There are numbers from Into the Woods, Sweeney ToddCompany, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Follies and A Little Night Music, to name just a few.

They will be backed on stage by a live band of equally talented musicians, headed up by our musical director, Chris Cameron-Dow on piano keyboard, Tersia Harley (Who was the MD for I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) on 2nd keyboard, Basil Heald on bass and Schalk Wasserman on percussion
